Hi! Everyone…I was reading this newspaper and I found something interesting that caught my eyes. I want to share it with you and it’s about 2 ways to beat breast cancer. Now a days, many people die or suffering in different kinds of cancer. We want to prevent having breast cancer by Losing weight and Eating more vegetables. According to Researchers at Vanderbilt University Cancer Center discovered that women with a genetically high risk for breast cancer can cut their risk in half, simply with a diet high in cruciferous vegetables. Women who ate a lot of these vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and kale have a significantly lower risk of postmenopausal breast cancer. Meanwhile, in different study at the famed M.D. Anderson Cancer Center found that heavier women are more likely to get more aggressive and dangerous forms of breast cancer. Researchers found a particularly aggressive type is inflammatory breast cancer (45% obese patients but 15% in normal weight patients). After 5 years, a significantly greater number of obese women reported a recurrence or reappearance. “We are learning that the fat tissue may increase inflammation that leads to more aggressive disease,” according to Dr. Massimo Cristofanilli, who led the study.
