Funny Cartoon

I got this funny cartoon from a good friend who wants me to laugh and I want to share with you. We need this sometimes...

Here's the dialogue since it wasn't clear to read it. It's really funny and pardon the language.

MOMM! HEY MOM! ( says the kid)

Calvin, stop yelling across the house! If you want to talk to me,
walk over to the living room, where I am! (said mom)

I stepped in dog shit, where's the hose? (answered the kid)

Death in Hollywood

Hello, everyone... I'm finally back from our short vacation in London. I'm sorry if I haven't update my blogs for I am still busy. We got back last Saturday (June 20) and of course the next day is Father's Day and because we are still exhausted from our trip, we just rest and relax from home. My husband is not in the mood to go somewhere that day so we decided to stay home and watched the TFC news we missed. And when Monday came, he started to work and as usual, I put away our stuffs where it belongs. I started to organized and clean our house because my brother in-law and his family from Singapore might come here in Germany for a week vacation. Too much work but it's okay because we haven't seen them for more than 10 years. When I was checking my email at the yahoo site, I found something tragic story about the celebrities like Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson are dead. I wasn't shocked to hear that Farrah Fawcett is dead due to her cancer but reading about Michael Jackson, I was surprised, shocked and I can't still believe it while I'm reading the articles. That's a tragic one and I'm pretty sure a lot of people will mourn and grieve deeply especially his family because he died young. There are a lot things going on around the world and people still recovering from the pandemic or epidemic we are facing like swine flu or they call it H1N1 virus. Also about the missing people from airplane crushed (don't have the update because I haven't watch any U.S. news) and now from celebrity. Not only Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett had died, 2 or 3 weeks ago, David Carradine also past away. I don't like to hear any death but sometimes we have to face it and think that it's Gods will or he has reason we don't know. For the family of past celebrities, CONDOLENCE....

God Bless you all....

Swine Flu After-Effects

Hello...I was so tired today because I cooked eggrolls and fried rice for my cousin in-law and her co-workers. Last Monday, I went to the Optometrist without any appointment just to see if I can order contact lense before we leave going in England because I ran out and it's too late to order on online. I remember my cousin in-law works at the Optometrist so I went to her work. She made time for me to see me and the doctor for check up before ordering any contact lense. Because they made an effort to see me without an appointment, I made some eggrolls and friedrice for them for their efforts. As I was checking on my emails, I found this! My cousin in-law sent it to me on my email. Seeing this photo, I forgot that I'm too tired doing all my chores. It's nice to see and get some funny things in your emails. Now I'm sharing it to you and hopefully you won't be look like him if you have swine flu, he he he...(I'm just kidding...)

Have a wonderful day as always....

Busy Week....

Hello everyone...time goes fast because it's my daughter's summer vacation this coming Friday. I can't believe another year went by. She will be in 7th grade this coming school year starts (August). She is getting old too and of course if someone you love is adding a year each year that means I'm getting very old as well he he...Anyway forget the age, this coming Saturday on the 13th, we will be in England again for second time. This is our one week summer vacation because my hubby will never have another vacation until December (we are going home in the Phils.) Even though this is our second trip in England, I'm always excited to see such a beautiful and historic place or country like England. I'm so happy that my sister in-law stationed in England so that we can visit not only her but also the country. She will take us in London to see the Lion King Show Live! I have never been in that kind of show so this is my first time and my daughter, too. She is also taking us in Dublin, Ireland another country next to England. I don't know what to expect but they said that Ireland is expensive place like England. The only good thing about Ireland is that their currency is Euro like here in Germany unlike England who has Sterling Pounds almost two dollars for exchange in 1 pounds, it's outrageous! My sister in-law will also taking us in Pormeigerion(?), Spode and Aynsley where they sells the most expensive dishes like plates, mugs, pitcher and so on...She collects Fine Bone China, she probably has more than 10 different kind of dishes set. I collect some stuffs too but dishes? is not my thing. My hubby wants me to buy the dishes set but I told him that we can't afford it especially we are going home this year and we need that money not the dishes. We will see once we get there and I'll tell you what we have or done on our vacation. It will be busy week for us and I won't be able to post anything next week. But don't you worry, we will be back on the 20th of June and I will share my vacation week with you, I promise as always...

You have a wonderful day and take care...

Word of God

Encouragement When Afraid of Death

Jesus said to her, "I am the one who brings people back to life, and I am life itself. Those who believe in me will live even if they die. Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die..."

John 11:25-26

Brothers and sisters, we don't want you to be ignorant about those who have died. We don't want you to grieve like other people who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and came back to life. We also believe that, through Jesus, God will bring back those who have died. They will come back with Jesus. So then, comfort each other with these words!

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14,18

My sheep respond to my voice, and I[Jesus] know who they are. They follow me, and I give them eternal life. They will never be lost, and no one will tear them away from me.

John 10:27-28

He [our Lord Jesus Christ] died for us so that, whether we are awake in this life or asleep in death, we will live together with him.

1 Thessalonians 5:10

"Death, where is your victory?
Death, where is your sting?"
Sin gives death its sting, and God's standards give sin its power. Thank God that he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

After these things I saw a large crowd from every nation, tribe, people, and language. No one was able to count how many people there were. They were standing in front of the throne and the lamb. They were wearing white robes, holding palm branches in their hands. One of the leaders asked me, "Who are these people wearing whites robes, and where did they come from?"
I answered him, "Sir, you know."
Then he told me,
"These are the people who are coming out of the terrible suffering.
They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb.
That is why they are in front of the throne of God.
They serve him day and night in his temple.
The one who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.
They will never be hungry of thirsty again.
Neither the sun nor any burning heat will ever overcome them.
The lamb in the center near throne will be their shepherd.
He will lead them to springs filled with the water of life,
and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."

Revelation 7:9, 13-17

Happy Birthday Christian!!!

Happy Birthday to my nephew Christian on his 7th year.

God gave a gift to the world when you were born; a person who loves and cares, who sees a person's need and fills it, who encourages and lifts people up, who spends energy on others rather than himself, who touches each life he enters & makes a difference in the world. May the love you have shown to others return to you multiplied.
Have a wonderful day and best wishes....

Simple snoring can lead to serious...

I was wondering why some people mostly men snores a lot and very loud! I was looking at Yahoo web sites and I found this article about snoring. I have been having problem with my partner every time he sleeps. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who's having these problem. They said that the reason a person snores is because he/she is tired ot worn-out but I've been observing my partner that being exhausted is not the reason. I don't believe that being tired makes them snores during their sleeps. I found the answer and I will enclosed it on my blog why, what causes and how to prevent or treated the snoring...also you can find out by looking at the illustration or photos.
What is snoring?
You snore when the flow of air from your mouth or nose to your lungs makes the tissues of your throat vibrate when you sleep. This can make a loud, raspy noise. Loud snoring can make it hard for you and your partner to get a good night’s sleep.
You may not know that you snore. Your bed partner may notice the snoring and that you sleep with your mouth open. If snoring keeps you or your bed partner from getting a good night’s sleep, one or both of you may feel tired during the day.
Snoring may point to other medical problems, such as obstructive sleep apnea. Sleep apnea can be a serious problem, because you stop breathing at times during sleep. So if you snore often, talk to your doctor about it.
Snoring is more common in men than in women.

What causes snoring?

When you sleep, the muscles in the back of the roof of your mouth (soft palate), tongue, and throat relax. If they relax too much, they narrow or block your airway. As you breathe, your soft palate and uvula vibrate and knock against the back of your throat. This causes the sounds you hear during snoring.
The tonsils and adenoids may also vibrate. The narrower the airway is, the more the tissue vibrates, and the louder the snoring is.
See pictures of the tonsils, adenoids, and uvula and the soft palate.

How is it treated?

You may be able to treat snoring by making changes in your activities and in the way you sleep. For example:
Lose weight if you are overweight.
Quit smoking.
Sleep on your side and not your back.
Limit your use of alcohol and medicines such as sedatives before you go to bed.
If a stuffy nose makes your snoring worse, use nose strips, decongestants, or nasal steroid sprays to help you breathe.
When you sleep, use a device in your mouth that helps you breathe easier. This device pushes your tongue and jaw forward to improve airflow.
If these treatments do not work, you may be able to use a machine that helps you breathe while you sleep. This treatment is called continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP (say "SEE-pap"). In rare cases, your doctor may suggest surgery to open your airway.
Snoring is not always considered a medical problem, so find out if your insurance covers the cost of treatment.
Hopefully this will help for those who snores because it does help me!
