Miserable Saturday!!!

Hello family and friends and fellow bloggers....I don't know how am I going to start to tell you my weekend because until now I’m still upset and really pissed off for what happened to me last Saturday. It was American holiday (Memorial Day) and my husband and my daughter has 3 day weekend means Saturday thru Monday, they are off. I want to go to Passau but my husband is not in a mood to drive 6 hours. It was beautiful and sunny day last Saturday so I told my husband “let’s go to Luxembourg!” since he doesn’t want to drive 6 hours in Passau.
From our place (Ramstein) to Luxembourg city is 140 km and it took us an hour and 45 minutes to drive there with some detour, it supposed to be an hour and 10 minutes only. This is our first time to go and see Luxembourg. But before we went to Luxembourg, I searched on internet what to see and do in Luxembourg. I found some places that I want to go and most of all I really want to see an American cemetery. I haven’t seen any American cemetery for soldiers who died in wars even back in states or back home (Philippines.) so I said to myself this is wonderful! I will finally see the American cemetery that is close or nearby where we live. We were in Metz, France last February but we didn’t have a chance to see the largest American cemetery in Europe. When we got to the city of Luxembourg, I took a lot of photos; we walked a lot from up hill to the ground. The city was too small; you can see the whole city by walking without taking any bus or the hop on hop off bus (sightseeing bus). For my experience and for what I saw, I didn’t like the Luxembourg, Trier is better than Luxembourg. After we have seen almost everything in the city of Luxembourg for 3 hours, we decided to see the American cemetery. We don’t have the exact address, so we asked people there but no one knew. We have the navigon system but the GPS won’t tell us where exactly the cemetery is. We’ve been driving thru city to outskirt but we couldn’t find the sign of cemetery. My husband and I are getting frustrated so we decided to go home. On the way home, at the Autobahn or highway, we saw the sign of American cemetery so we took that road and finally saw the cemetery but it was closed. Another disappointment journey but there is a good news though, there is an American family who have been camping in that area and told us that we can see the cemetery except the main office or other facility like restroom is closed. We told the lady that we don’t mind if the office or restroom is close as long we can see the cemetery. She took us at the back road, the long way to see the cemetery. I was so happy to see it. We started to take photos, read some histories and looked some names on the grave. There are too many, there’s some Jews and no names on their grave. We also saw the famous General during WWII, General George Patton Jr. After 1 hour walking on the sites, we decided to leave before the sun down.
On the way home, I was having trouble with my camera so I started to browsing and I accidentally press something and it got deleted all the photos I took. I was calm at first because I thought I cloud retrieve some photos when I get home but I was wrong. I tried to download it in my computer but no images showed. I started to panicked and mentioned to my husband and told me to read the manual how to retrieve photos when you did something unfamiliar. So that’s what I did, I read the manual and found that if I did what I did, it will erase everything. I was screaming and cursing and crying. I was upset to myself and most of all, I was mad at my camera. I kept crying for an hour until my husband calm me down and told me that I can’t do anything anymore or nobody can! Another reason why I kept crying is because I don’t really want to go back in Luxembourg, nothing special and it’s boring!!! He also said that it’s only photos but I told him that I’m finally gone to Luxembourg with no proof. He said that I bought some post cards, shot glass and magnet for proofs, what else I’m looking for? It’s better to have photos to remember things. I know I have some memories in my head but my memories won’t last forever…He convinced me that he will take me there again on Monday since he is off and he did! We went back at Luxembourg, we drove to the American cemetery first and then we went to the city of Luxembourg. We spent more time in cemetery than the city. It was amazing experience and I’ve learned more on the cemetery than the city. There’s more history in cemetery than the city itself. I felt a bit better than last Saturday. I have more to tell about our trip last Monday from cemetery to the city but I have to stop right now. I will tell you more on my next blog.

Have a wonderful and sunny day to y’all……

Memorial Day

The American Battle Monuments Commission Luxembourg American Cemetery

The American Battle Monuments Commission(ABMC), established by law in 1923, is an independent agaency of the Executive Branch of the US Government. The Commission is responsible for commemorating the services and achievements of United States Armed Forces where they have served since April 6,1917 (the date of US entry into World War I) through the erection of suitable memorial shrines; for designing, constructing, operating and maintaining permanent US military cemeteries and memorials in foreign countries by other US citizens and organizations, both public and private; and encouraging the maintenance of such monuments and markers by their sponsors.
This cemetery, 50.5 acres un extent, is situated in a glade enframed by spruce, beech, oak, and other trees. It is one of fourteen permanent World Was II cemeteries erected on foreign soil. The site was liberates by the U.S. 5th Armored Division on 10 September 1944 and a temporary military burial ground was established here on 29 December 1944. Free use as a permanent burial ground was granted by the Grand Ducal government in perpetuity without charge or taxation. Later, the Grand Ducal government developed a parking area for the cemetery.

The graves area contains the remains of 5,076 American military Dead, including a woman Army Nurse, who lost their lives in the service of their country. These honored Dead came from the 50 states and the District of Columbia. In 22 instances, two brothers rest side-by-side in adjacent graves. One hundred and one headstones mark the graves of "Unknowns" whose remains could not be positively identified. White marble shafts surmounted by a Star of David mark the graves of 118 of the Jewish faith, white marble crosses mark the others.
The headstones are set in nine plots of fine grass. Separating the plots are two malls radiating from the memorial and two transverse paths. Two flagpoles overlook the graves area in front of the memorial. Between the flagpoles is the grave of General George S. Patton, Jr.
Each radial mall contains two fountains consisting of a pylon of Valore stone overlooking three jet pools on descending levels. High on the obverse side of the pylon is a bronze sea shell from which water flows into the pools. Bronze dolphins and turtles decorate the pools symbolizing, respectively, Resurrection and Everlasting Life.

The Pylons inscribed on the outer faces of the two rectangular pylons on the terrace are the name, rank, organization and state of entry into the militayr service of 371 Missing in Action of the United States Army and Army Air Forces. These men, whose remains were either never recovered or positively identified, came from 42 states and the District of Columbia. An asterisk sets out those sussequently identified. Above the names on each pylon is the inscription: HERE ARE RECORDED THE NAMES OF AMERICANS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE SERVICE OF THEIR COUNTRY AND WHO SLEEP IN UNKNOWN GRAVES.
A large operations map, carved and fitted together from slabs of several types of granite, is set into the inner face of each pylon. The west pylon contains a map of military operations in western Europe from the landings in Normandy to the end of the war. The east pylon contains a map of the Ardennes and Rhineland campaigns to include the "Battle of the Bulge," subsequently fighting to clear the west bank of the Rhine, and the crossing of the Rhine River at Oppenheim. Flanking the maps are explanatory inscriptions in English and French.

Poison from eating shrimp???

I have something to remind to all of you out there about eating shrimp while taking vitamin C. You might want to read this because it will save your life in present and future...It's really important and if you really value your life then I suggest to read it, share it and follow it! It could happen to you or anyone in your family and friends....

In Taiwan , a woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mouth & eyes. After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed death due to arsenic poisoning death. Where did the arsenic come from?
The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case.
The professor carefully looked at the contents from the deceased's stomach, in less than half an hour, the mystery was solved. The professor said: 'The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!' Everyone was puzzled, why accidental death? The arsenic is of the U.S.military for carrying rice seedlings H Gao.
The professor said: 'The arsenic is produced in the stomach of the deceased.' The deceased used to take 'Vitamin C' everyday, which in itself is not a problem. The problem was that she ate a large portion of shrimp/prawn during dinner. Eating shrimp/prawn is not the problem that's why nothing happened to her family ever though they took the same shrimp/prawn. However at the same time the deceased also took 'vitamin C', that is where the problem is!
Researchers at the University of Chicago in the United States, found through experiments, food such as soft-shell shrimp/prawn contains a much higher concentration of - five potassium arsenic compounds. Such fresh food by itself has no toxic effects on the human body! However, in taking 'vitamin C', due to the chemical reaction, the original non-toxic - five potassium arsenic (As anhydride, also known as arsenic oxide, the chemical formula for As205) changed to a three potassium toxic arsenic (ADB arsenic anhydride), also known as arsenictrioxide, a chemical formula (As203), which is commonly known as arsenic to the public! Arsenic poisoning have magma role and can cause paralysis to the small blood vessels, "mercapto Jimei"??, inhibits the activity of the liver and fat necrosis change Hepatic Lobules Centre, heart, liver, kidney, intestine congestion, epithelial cell necrosis, telangiectasia. Therefore, a person who dies of arsenic poisoning will shows signs of bleeding from the ears, nose, mouth & eyes. Therefore; as a precautionary measure, DO NOT not take shrimp/prawn when taking 'vitamin C'.

Do not LICK the envelopes!!!

I would like to share a true story about licking envelopes what could and would happen to you if you lick an envelope. So before you do that? you have to read my post and THINK again! It's disgusting, unpleasant, sickening and most of all it's gross!!!

This is a true story reported on CNN.

One day a girl licked the envelopes and postage stamps instead of using sponge. That very day the lady found a cut on her tongue. A week later, she noticed an abnormal swelling of her tongue. She went to the doctor, and they found nothing wrong. Her tongue was not sore or anything. A couple of days later, her tongue started to swell more, and it began to get really sore, so sore, that she could not eat. She went back to the hospital, and demanded something be done. The doctor took an x-ray of her tongue and noticed a lump. He prepared her for minor surgery. When the doctor cut her tongue open, a live cockroach crawled out!!!
There were cockroach eggs on the seal of the envelope.
The egg was able to hatch inside of her tongue, because of her saliva. It was warm and moist….

Andy Hume wrote:

Hey, I used to work in an envelope factory. You wouldn’t believe the… things that float around in those gum applicator trays. I haven’t licked an envelope for years! “I used to work for a print shop (32 years ago) and we were told NEVER to lick the envelopes. I never understood why until I had to go into storage and pull out 2500 envelopes that were already printed and saw several squads of cockroaches roaming around inside a couple of boxes with eggs everywhere. They eat the glue on the envelopes.

When Zachary went to Catholic school....

Little Zachary was doing very badly in math. His parents had tried everything....
Tutors, Mentors, flash cards, Special learning centers. In short, everything they could
think of to help his math.
Finally, in a last ditch effort, they took Zachary down and enrolled him in the local
Catholic school. After the first day, little Zachary came home with a very serious look
on his face. He didn't even kiss his mother Hello. Instead, he went straight to his room and
started studying. Books and papers were spread out all over the room and little
Zachary was hard at work. His mother was amazed. She called him down to dinner.
To her shock, the minute he was done, he marched back to his room without a word,
and in no time, he was back hitting the books as hard as before. This went on for some time,
day after day, while the mother tried to understand what made all the difference.
Finally , little Zachary brought home his report Card. He quietly laid it on the table,
went up to his room and hit the books. With great trepidation, His Mom looked at
it and to her great surprise, Little Zachary got an 'A' in math. She could no Longer
hold her curiosity.
She went to his room and said, 'Son, what was it? Was it the nuns?' Little Zachary looked
at her and shook his head, no. 'Well, then,' she replied, Was it the books, the discipline,
the structure, the uniforms? 'WHAT WAS IT ALREADY?'
Little Zachary looked at her and said, 'Well, on the first day of school when
I saw that guy nailed to the plus sign, I knew they weren't fooling around.'

Have a wonderful day and God Bless.

Important things to know about Cancer

I have received imformation about cancer and I would like to share it with you guys. How we get it and how we can prevent it spreading. This is important and it came from the well-known hospital in US. PLEASE read it and you could share this with your family and friends by telling them or you can copy it and send it to their emails. Not only you saving your life, and so others...
If we all follow all the instruction, we all be living in wonderful and long LIFE. Be SAFE....

John Hopkins Cancer Center
-
AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY('TRY, BEING THE KEY WORD) TO ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLYSTARTING TO TELL YOU, THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY.
Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins :

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cellsdo not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a fewbillion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancercells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests areunable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached thedetectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.
3. When the person's immune system is strong, the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple (nutritional ) deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells but also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, likeliver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation, while destroying cancer cells, also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.
9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy.. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes likeNutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc. are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based dietis acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reachdown to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts)and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed attemperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine.Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer fighting properties.Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
f. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic build up.
g. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat, it frees more enzymes to attack the proteinwalls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.
h. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence,Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.
i. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidicenvironment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.
j. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment.Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroycancer cells.
(PLEASE FORWARD IT TO PEOPLE YOU CARE ABOUT )

CANCER UPDATE FROM JOHN HOPKINS HOSPITAL , U S - PLEASE READ

1. No plastic containers in micro.
2. No water bottles in freezer.
3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center aswell. Dioxin chemicals causes cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually meltout of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a papertowel instead.

Don't Love Me Anymore???

I love this email that my husband sent it to me. I can't stop laughing and sometimes we need to laugh whether it's sad or happy times in our life, right?? Hopefully you guys enjoys it coz I did!
It's about a married couple, husband thought that his wife doesn't love him anymore so he wrote a letter to his wife and he got the responds from his wife (you'll LOVE the responds!!!he he he....) Have A Great Day Everyone....

Dear Wife:
I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you forever. I've been a good man to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it.These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today and that was the last straw. Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don't tell me you love me anymore; you don't want sex or anything that connects us as husband and wife. Either you are cheating on me or you don't love me anymore; whatever the case, I'm gone.

Signed,Your EX-Husband
P.S Don't try to find me. Your SISTER, Carla and I are moving away toWest Virginia together!Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband
Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It's true thatyou and I have been married for seven years, although a good man is afar cry from what you've been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and griping. Too bad that doesn't work. I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the first thing that came to mind was "You look just like a girl!" Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can't say something nice, I didn't comment, And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago.About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, and I prayed that it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning. After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica . But when I got home you were gone.Everything happens for a reason, I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won't get a dime from me. So take care.

Signed,Your Ex-Wife,
Rich As Hell and Free!
P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this, but my sister Carla was bornCarl. I hope that's not a problem!HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

Encouragement When Afraid of Death

Jesus said to her, "I am the one who brings people back to
life, and I am life itself. Those who believe in me will live even if
they die. Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die..."
John 11:25-26
Brothers and sisters, we don't want you to be ignorant
about those who have died. We don't want you to grieve like
other people who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and
came back to life. We also believe that, through Jesus, God will
bring back those who have died. They will come back with
Jesus. So then, comfort each other with these words!
1Thessalonians 4:13-14, 18
My sheep respond to my voice, and I {Jesus} know who they
are. They follow me, and I give them eternal life. They will
never be lost, and no one will tear them away fom me.
John 10:27-28
He [our Lord Jesus Christ] died for us so that, whether we are
awake in this life or asleep in death, we will live together with him.
1Thessalonians 5:10
"Death, where is your victory?
Death, where is your sting?"
Sin gives death its sting, and God's standards give sin its
power. Thank God that he gives us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.
1Cprinthians 15:55-57
After these things I saw a large crowd from every nation,
tribe, people, and language. No one was able to count how many
people there were. They were standing in front of the throne and
the lamb. They were wearing white robes, holding palm branch-
es in their hands. One of the leaders asked me,"Who are these
people wearing white robes, and where did they come from?"
I answered him, "Sir, you know."
Then he told me,
"These are the people who are coming
out of the terrible suffering.
They have washed their robes
and made them white in the blood of the lamb.
That is why they are in front of the throne of God.
They serve him day and night in his temple.
The one who sits on the throne will spread
his tent over them.
They will never be hungry or thirsty agin.
Neither the sun nor any burning heat will
ever overcome them.
The lamb in the center near the throne will be
their shepherd.
He will lead them to springs filled with the
water of life,
and God will wipe every tear from their eyes."
Revelations 7:9, 13-17

US Visa

This is a true story taken from one of the most read newspapers in the Philippines ...

A 70-year old 'lolo' from the province was accompanied by a grandson to the US Embassy in Manila for his VISA interview.
The lolo spoke not a word of English so the grandson translated for him.
The Consul told the young man to ask his grandfather why he wanted to go to the States.
Bakit daw ho ninyo gustong pumunta sa Amerika?'
The grandson translated.'Sabihin mo gusto kong makita yung mga anak ko doon.'
'He said he wants to see his children there.
'Fair enough, that's what the lolo's application indicated.
The Consul had another question. 'Ask him why does he have to go there?
Why can't his children just come and visit him here?'
The grandson translated this in Tagalog. Lolo replied:
'Sabihin mo kasi dito pinanganak yung mga anak ko.
Nakita na nila ang Pilipinas. Gusto ko namang makita ang Amerika bago ako mamatay.
'(Translation: 'Tell him, my children were born here. They've seen the Philippines already. I just want to see America before I die.')
The HEARTLESS Consul was unimpressed as he declared, devoid of any emotion, that he was rejecting the visa application 'because the applicant was unable to speak any word of English.
''Reject daw yung visa ninyo kasi hindi daw kayo marunong mag-Ingles.
'The lolo was equally unimpressed. 'Sabihin mo ito sa kanya at huwag na huwag mong papalitan ang sasabihin ko:
'Putang ina niya, bakit siya nandidito eh hindi naman siya marunong mag-Tagalog! ?
'Translated, 'He said: You son of a bitch, how come you are here... you do not know how to speak in Tagalog!?
'Taken aback, sense of humor still intact, the consul relented and approved lolo's visa application in pronto.
